Usage Limits

This guide explains how usage limits work for Pixelcut subscribers. If you're on a paid plan, many powerful AI tools are included with your subscription and do not consume GPU credits. However, depending on the model type, there may be soft usage limits to ensure fast and fair access for everyone.

Free users have more limited access (typically 3 uses/day). Upgrade to a paid plan for higher limits, more power, and access to all model classes.

Basic AI (Practically Unlimited)

These models are highly optimized and designed for frequent use. They operate with very high rate limits, so most users will never hit a cap. These include:

  • Background Removal
  • Magic Eraser
  • Fast Upscaler

These models have practically unlimited usage limits for all subscribers.

Generative AI (Soft Limits)

These are more powerful models that require additional compute resources. They’re included with your plan and do not consume GPU credits, but they are subject to soft usage limits based on your subscription tier. The models that fall into this category are:

  • AI Backgrounds
  • Generative Fill
  • Pro Eraser
  • Flux/Dev Image Generation
  • Mockups
  • AI Logos
  • Expand Image

What are the limits?

These are the estimated limits for these models. Since they use substantial resources, limits help ensure fast and fair access for all users. In many cases, you may be able to exceed the limits if system capacity allows.

Plan Estimated Generation Limit
Pixelcut Pro 500/week
Pixelcut Pro+ 1000/week
Pixelcut Max 2500/week

How will I know if I hit a limit?

If you hit your estimated usage limit for one of these models, the app will notify you. Depending on system capacity, you may still be allowed to generate more. Otherwise, usage will resume after your limit resets (weekly or monthly).

To unlock more:

- Switch to GPU-credit models (no usage limits)

- Upgrade to a higher plan for increased limits

GPU Credits based Models

These are our the most advanced and compute-intensive models and partner models. They require GPU credits to use and are priced accordingly.
